Review: Wild Olive African Artisans

Another African gem to fawn over. I was lucky enough to receive a few products from Wild Olive for Christmas (shoutout to bae 🙂 ), and once I’d used them for a decent amount of time, thought I’d share this beautiful brand with you all.

Wild Olive is an African Artisan company located in Pepper street in Cape Town. They make a range of spoil-yourself products, ranging from bath salts to parfum creations to rich body butters; and every single one of them is made entirely of natural products. They are also cruelty-free (yusss!).

The three products that I received are a candle, a bar of soap, and a hand cream. The packaging of all the products is understated and simple, with the products themselves feeling very luxurious and high in quality.

For starters, all three smell incredible. The best in the scent category is undoubtedly the orange aurantium et aromata candle. The scent really fills a living space without being sickly, and it burns slowly enough to be enjoyed for a good amount of time. The hand cream is very rich and thick, also has a great scent, and the packaging is convenient because as the product gets used up, you can roll the top down and really squeeze every bit out. The soap is the simplest of the three, but leaves my body feeling clean, moisturised and again, smelling fantastic.

Check these guys out – they make great gifts and they will even package it specially upon request (red ribbon and all!) 🙂
