Catrice Cosmetics: All About Eyes Review

Catrice Eyes

Catrice cosmetics is one of those brands that I’ve seen for a while but never really heard much about so never thought of trying anything in particular. So a few weeks ago, I was in Discem and thought I’d buy a few items to test out and let you all know if they’re any good 🙂

Let’s start with the primer – I love the doe foot applicator and the product itself is really good too. I will say however, that it doesn’t have much pigmentation so if you’re only looking for a primer that will make your eyeshadow last and not even out your skin tone too, then this is perfect. Set it with a translucent powder before applying your other shadows and you’ll be good to go.

The eyeshadow palette was the only thing I wasn’t thrilled about. All the colours are a bit cool for my skin tone and I didn’t find the colour pay-off to be fantastic, but on a lighter skin tone this would be beautifully soft and romantic.

The liquid liner is amazing. The formula is super black, it lasts a long time on the lid, and I really enjoyed the applicator – a very firm and fine tip that makes it easy to get a fine line close to your lashes or build it up to a sharp wing.

Last but not least, the mascara. If you like long, voluminous, and spidery lashes, then this is for you. I found the formula of this to hold a curl really well, it is also very black, and there was no fallout throughout the day (a lot of mascaras leave me looking like a raccoon after a few hours). The brush is quite fat so it’s not great for getting up close and personal to your lash line, but overall a really good product.

I’ve only seen this range at Discem so if you can, give this brand a try! Super affordable and they have a lot of gems to offer 🙂
