You guys know I love cleanse off oils to remove makeup, and this Lipidol one is relatively new to the drugstore. They can be found in most Clicks stores and retail for R79, 95.
For starters, I love the packaging; I personally prefer a clean and simple design and this range delivers. There are other oils (for body, hair, etc.) but I thought I’d give this one a try first. The oil in this particular product is blue and has a very subtle mint fragrance.
The way to apply this is to a dry face, over makeup if you’re wearing any, massage it in, then wet your hands and massage again (this will turn the product milky), and then just rinse off or wipe away with a damp cloth.
As a cleanse off oil, it does a good job of removing the majority of my makeup and is a great price, though I wouldn’t recommend using this to remove heavy eye makeup because it left my eyes burning when I did. So maybe use a separate eye makeup remover in conjunction with this and you’ll be good to go. I will definitely be trying other products in the Lipidol range and suggest you guys give them a try too if you’re looking for skincare on a budget 🙂
