I love this outfit because it is SO comfortable but fun at the same time. It’s the perfect way to rock a bold look for the Spring and Summer months because it is so light and flowy.

I hope you guys like the look and that you try out some bold prints for the upcoming warmer seasons!

Review: Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

I motored through a bottle of this stuff. As you guys know, I have my set skincare routine and have been using the same cleanser for a while, but when I got my hands on a bottle of the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish I couldn’t wait to try it.

I heard that this product was launching when I attended BeautyCon London and managed to get my hands on one at their booth. I’ve used up the whole bottle so I could give a proper review on it.

The product itself is a rich cream that removes make-up as well as cleanses the skin. I did still use my cleanse off oil before this step, just in the evenings, to do the initial removal of makeup and then went in with this after. It has a subtle mint fragrance and feels so fresh and gentle on the skin. My skin never felt stripped after using this and I noticed a big difference in the texture of my skin which I think was a result of using a muslin cloth to remove the cleanser. Muslin cloths are great for a daily gentle exfoliation and they are also sold with the cleanser (they are also available at The Body Shop).

I also liked how neat this was to use; I didn’t have to splash water everywhere while trying to rinse my face. I just applied one pump to my face and neck, ran my muslin cloth under hot tap water, and then gently wiped the cleanser off – so simple. This is suitable for all skin types and all ages.

I will definitely be repurchasing this cleanser and I highly recommend that you try it out too. Hoping this gets released in South Africa soon! *wink wink to Liz Earle*

Primark Haul

I love a good bargain as much as the next girl, and Primark is a goldmine. If you’re looking for fun and fashionable pieces but don’t want fork out for them then definitely give this store a try. There are loads of them all over London, and recently I made a trip to the Kingston branch.

It was surprisingly peaceful (the low price point can make most Primarks feel like a madhouse) and I walked away with a few items that I love. One thing I will say is that the quality isn’t the greatest so don’t expect longevity, but for what you’re paying it’s totally worth it!

What I went for:

Tropical wide-leg pants – I thought these would be a great addition to my summer wardrobe, so comfy and pretty!

Black patterned cardigan – I love having items like this to layer up in the colder months or to throw on for a little extra warmth.

Nude heels – I have been looking for a patterned pair of nude heels for a good few months and I finally found them. Yaaasss 🙂

Blue print tunic – Something about the blue on white pattern on this reminds me of Greece, and I love this sleeve length on dresses.

Silver ring set – I’m  a big fan of midi rings and I just really loved this set when I saw it.

Hello again! Being back on the blog feels so good – I missed you guys! Sorry for going awol, my sister came up from Cape Town and we were busy doing all the touristy things. One of the things we’d been planning for a good few months was a trip to Barcelona and of course, I vlogged it for you 🙂

We used the Air Bnb service and I would highly recommend it. Everything about Barcelona really lived up to the expectation; definitely a must-see!

I hope you enjoy watching this as much as we enjoyed experiencing it!
