Florals for Spring. As cliche as that sounds, I love this trend year in and year out. I found this black and red Cotton On dress to be the perfect evening summer date night look because it’s pretty and playful, and can be dressed up or dressed down, depending on the occasion. I paired the dress with layered silver necklaces, a felt hat, and black wedge heels.

I’m a romantic at heart and that combined with the beautiful summer evenings that Cape Town experiences, is a pretty awesome combination. Whether it’s  dinner with a friend or a date with that special someone, I’ll be rocking this look 😉

Coffee Love: The Power and the Glory

If you know me well, you’ll know I’m an avid coffee lover. It’s the smell, the taste, and something about coffee just screams “you can do this!”. Ok, I might be a little too enthusiastic, but to put it simply, the love for this caffeinated gem is real. One of my favourite spots to enjoy a good cup of coffee is The Power and the Glory, which can be found on Kloof Nek Road in town, just under the bar Rafiki’s.

This trendy and quaint little spot serves great coffee by day and opens up it’s vibey bar by night. I would recommend going there midday, ordering a flat white, their quiche of the day (served with a delicious side salad), and enjoying people watching in one of the hipster hubs of the city.
